Former President Jimmy Carter's
Back-to-the-Future Attempt to Avert War
Back Home
Dec. 10, 2002 If there is anything that could convince a visitor to this site that there is another force operating in the universe, that in essence incorporates a type of "parallel universe," this story may best convey it. Consider the odds of a former one-term President who was defeated in a landslide election traveling 22 years into a dangerous, foreboding future to have received a Noble Peace Prize award few can ever hope of achieving. Then, right at the exact time the United States is on the brink of an unprecedented "preventative war," his using that as a platform to caution the reckless leadership in America of the foreboding consequences of its desire for war. Think the timing is a coincidence?  Think again!

Former President Jimmy Carter is perhaps the best example I have found yet of someone who traveled into the future with vision and purpose to be at the right place and time to convey an important wake-up call and warning in an attempt to avert war. At a time few shocked, brainwashed Americans understand the consequences of using an unprovoked war as a means to achieve a goal, Carter noted in accepting the peace award his concern that "for powerful countries to adopt a principle of preventive war may well set an example that can have catastrophic consequences." Had President Carter not won the Noble Peace Prize, his voice would have had little, if any meaning, at this time in history.

That President Jimmy Carter traveled to the future to the exact moment in history his voice was sorely needed. Once perceived as a weak and ineffective leader, Jimmy Carter has proven that he is clearly a force to be reckoned with and that he is a time traveler with a key purpose.
